A new lifestyle with Second Leg

We were surprised that it was already 3 years ago. 3 years since we first met Mohamed in Tunis. It was exciting for all of us. For Mohamed and Saphenus, 2021. After all, it was the start of an experiment with an uncertain outcome. Would it be possible to set up an orthopaedic workshop in just a few days? Will we be able to provide for people and enable them to live on two legs?

We succeeded with Mohamed. And it was important for Mohamed. He was unhappy, actually a little devastated. No prosthesis, no work, no relationship. First came the prosthesis. He was fitted with a prosthesis by our CTO so that he could lead a normal life. And then we didn’t hear anything for a few months until we received an invitation in the spring. We were invited to the wedding, he had found the woman of his life.

Today, Mohamed is in the centre of life, has a job and is a happy father. Opportunity enough to give him a little more health literacy. Aaron and Christian met him again to try out the sensory feedback system in the dark alleyways of Tunis.
